About Isaiah House

The Isaiah House of El Paso program is the culmination of years of planning and experience in dealing with prison ministry. Members of the Criminal Justice Ministry of St. Patrick Cathedral began visiting the men and women in jail and prisons years ago. The diocese of El Paso recognized the need for additional ministry to the men who were being released from prison. An ad hoc committee was formed and the planning began for a faith-based home for men coming out of prison. On September 20, 2012 the Board of Directors of Isaiah House of El Paso was installed at the Mother Teresa Center, 2400 East Yandell. In June, 2013 we rented a home in Central El Paso. And on December 24, 2013 this community project received its 501c3 status.

Our knowledgeable Board Members and experienced staff are committed to providing the support for the ex-offenders enrolled in our program. We are confident that we can assist these newly released men as they make a positive transition back into our society.
